NBNYC will be renamed “Newtek Bank, National Association,” and begin operation as a subsidiary of Newtek Business Services Corp. (NASDAQ: NEWT) by January 17th. NBNYC staff, and the branch in Flushing, NY will continue day to day operations as normal.
